The Survivor Tree

Some symbols in Oklahoma don't need an introduction. They stand on sacred ground, and their meaning is understood without a word. High among them is the Survivor Tree. It’s more than an American Elm; it’s a living monument to resilience, a solemn vow of remembrance, and the character of a city that would not be broken.

So when we considered a design inspired by the tree, we had to ask a fundamental question: How do you respectfully capture something so profound on cloth? A literal drawing felt inadequate. A simple copy can't hold the weight of the original's meaning—it would be a replica, and the Survivor Tree stands alone.

Our goal was never replication. It was interpretation. The design on our tee is an artistic rendering, intended to evoke the spirit of the tree, not to document its every branch. We focused on its defiant silhouette and its deep roots. The clean, minimalist lines are intentional, chosen to distill its essence into a single idea: endurance. This is a symbol, not a portrait.

Wearing this design means carrying that story. It’s a personal, solemn acknowledgment of our city’s history and its unshakeable resolve. It’s an expression of the Oklahoma Standard. Our way of ensuring the story continues, not with loud words, but with quiet confidence. This is our interpretation, offered with the deepest respect.

Welcome to the family.
